Where is Wholistic Pet Organics Diatomaceous Earth sourced?

From food-grade freshwater deposits in the United states.

How is Wholistic Diatomaceous Earth (DE) used as a way to control biting arthropods?

DE is composed of the fossilized remains of microscopic seashells called diatoms, making a product that can naturally help to remove internal and external biting arthropods.

Is Wholistic Diatomaceous Earth (DE) effective to control different types of biting arthopods?

Yes, Wholistic DE powder is effective for external control of biting arthropods. For internal use simply mix in DE with a pet’s food. For external use, apply to a pet’s coat and apply a dusting around their bedding area and repeat as needed.

How does Wholistic Diatomaceous Earth differ from DE sold in the lawn and garden stores?

Wholistic Diatomaceous Earth (DE) differs in quality and safety. For animals to ingest, DE must be of actual food-grade quality which Wholistic DE Powder is.
