Gro-Med Organic Coco Coir Block Enriched with Plant Food Potting Soil 11 lb

Product description

Gro-Med Compressed Coconut Coir Brick – Packed with Growth-Boosting Nutrients

Every thriving garden—whether indoors or outdoors—starts with the right soil. Traditional top soil may often be heavy, inconsistent, or lack essential nutrients for delicate roots. Gardeners and plant enthusiasts are increasingly turning to coco coir bricks as a sustainable, organic option for potting soil.

The Gro-Med Compressed Coconut Coir Brick is designed to expand into a light, airy, and nutrient rich organic potting mix when hydrated. Each brick yields up to 20 gallons of fluffy coir that is perfect for everything from indoor houseplants to outdoor vegetable gardens, orchids, hydroponics setups, and even raised bed gardening.

100% ORGANIC & READY TO GROW Most coco coir is completely empty, forcing you to buy extra fertilizer right away. We save you a step! Our coir is pre-blended with natural, plant-based food to give your vegetables, herbs, and seedlings a healthy start. No synthetic chemicals, no harsh salts—just pure, organic goodness.
TRIPLE-WASHED FOR HEALTHY ROOTS We wash our coconut fiber three times with fresh, clean water before it ever reaches your door. This removes natural ocean salts, leaving a very low salt level (Low EC) so your tender plant roots stay completely safe from chemical burn and stress.
CLEAN, SCREENED & FLUFFY TEXTURE No one likes finding rocks, clumps, or dust in their soil. We carefully screen our coir to ensure you get a pure, premium, and airy texture. This fluffy environment allows plant roots to breathe, spread out easily, and grow stronger.
ACTS LIKE A SPONGE FOR YOUR PLANTS Our coir has a naturally high Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). In everyday words, it acts like a giant, smart sponge. It grabs onto water and natural nutrients, holding them tight, and feeds your plants exactly when they are thirsty or hungry, protecting them from overwatering.
HUGE VALUE: EXPANDS TO 80 QUARTS IN 15 MINUTES It looks small in the package, but it grows! Just add warm water, wait about 10 -15 minutes, and watch this heavy-duty 10 lb block fluff up into 80 quarts of premium potting soil. It is the perfect, versatile growing medium for filling outdoor raised garden beds, indoor houseplants, seed starting trays, microgreens, flower boxes, hydroponic gardens, and Lawn & Landscaping!
